The Data Brigade
Pre-Second World War Lithuanian Jewish photographs provide a unique and irreplaceable record of a civilisation that no longer exists. The Data Brigade is a nonprofit organisation based in Lithuania dedicated to preserving and raising awareness of these rare and magical images by engaging with a wide diversity of individuals and organisations around the world. Eighty years after the last German soldiers left Lithuania in January 1945, the organisation is currently throwing all of its time and energy into one single project.
